How I Help You

I use an individually tailored, intervention-response model to work with you. My primary approach is experiential in nature, which means I work in the here-and-now with you. My approach is also informed by psychodynamic therapy, which explores how your past informs your present life. I believe in creating an atmosphere of safety that allows you to work toward your potential. I have completed my first year of Core training in ISTDP at the New Washington School of Psychiatry and am currently in year two of that program. I have previously completed a 2 year certificate in Relational Gestalt Therapy from the Indianapolis Gestalt Institute. I have also received past training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals (EFIT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Psychodynamic Therapy.
